Pokéween & Trick or Treat Brings Anime Culture Back to Little Rock
Pokéween & Trick or Treat returns to Little Rock with over 100 vendors, celebrating anime, collectibles, and pop culture with family-friendly activities and exclusive events.
Pokémon fans and pop culture collectors are in for a treat this weekend as Pokéween & Trick or Treat returns to Little Rock with more than 100 vendors, family activities, and giveaways.
The two-day event, organized by Cards & More Tour, will take place October 25–26 at the Embassy Suites in Little Rock, located at 11301 Financial Centre Parkway.
A Celebration of Pokémon and Anime
Pokéween & Trick or Treat, whoever named it is a genius. The event blends the spirit of Halloween with the excitement of Pokémon, offering something for fans of all ages. Collectibles from across pop culture will be on display, including sports and Pokémon cards, comic books, anime items, paintings, and more.
The celebrated anime Pokémon, first introduced in Japan in the 1990s, remains hugely popular in the United States, with a devoted following spanning generations. It also paved the way for many other anime series, which now enjoy strong fan bases in Arkansas. Pokémon games, cards, and characters continue to attract loyal fans, from children beginning their first collections to adults revisiting favorite childhood pastimes.
For attendees, Pokéween & Trick or Treat is more than an event; it is an opportunity to connect, collect, and celebrate within a lively community. Festival enthusiasts and anyone who enjoys the Halloween spirit are invited to join the fun. First-time fans can explore anime culture and engage with the wider fandom, while collectors will discover over 100 vendors offering everything from vintage sports cards to rare anime treasures.
Organizers aim to create a fun, welcoming environment for collectors, families, and fans. “We’re thrilled to be back, where the collector community continues to grow with incredible energy,” said Brandon LaVorgna, spokesperson for the Pokéween event. “Our goal is to create a weekend where people can connect over their shared passions and discover something new.”
Admission, VIP Access, and Activities
General admission for the event is $5, and children under 12 may enter free when accompanied by a paying adult. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, October 26.
VIP access, priced at $10, covers both days and allows early entry from 10 to 11 a.m. VIP guests can also participate in additional giveaways. Children under 12 may accompany a paid VIP adult but are not eligible for prizes.
Along with vendors, the expo will include raffle giveaways, exclusive show deals, local food trucks, live entertainment, music, and hourly prize giveaways.
In addition to the Little Rock event, the Pokéween & Trick or Treat tour will also return to the DoubleTree in Midlothian, Texas, at 1021 Kroger Center Blvd., for the same weekend. Both shows are part of Cards & More Tour’s effort to bring collectibles, trading cards, and fandom events to new audiences across the region.
Growing Community Interest
After a slowdown in public events during the pandemic, Arkansas’ fandom scene has seen renewed energy. Organizers expect this year’s turnout to reflect that excitement.
Visitors who attended the nearby Arkansas State Fair may find time to enjoy Pokéween & Trick or Treat, which offers a family-friendly experience filled with collectibles, games, and nostalgia.
