ArkansasVOX is an independent news outlet focused on reporting from and about Arkansas. We are a small team of writers, editors, and community contributors who care about clear, factual reporting. Our goal is to provide dependable coverage that people in Arkansas can use and trust.

We cover the stories that matter to everyday life in Arkansas. That includes state and local government, law and policy, local business and economy, community events, culture, and sports. Some stories are quick updates. Other stories are reported in more depth. All are treated with the same attention to accuracy and context.

Community reporting and user content

We are launching a reader reporting section where verified, user-submitted stories and local reports can appear on the site. If you want to publish with us, send your draft, notes, or tip to arkansasvox@hotmail.com. A moderator will review your submission. If it meets our editorial standards, we will work with you to prepare it for publication. If small edits or clarifications are needed, we will contact you. Anonymous submissions are welcome and will be handled with care and confidentiality when requested.

Independence and funding

ArkansasVOX is not funded or controlled by any political group, corporation, or outside organization. We currently operate on organic traffic and basic site tools. AdSense revenue will be launched soon to help cover hosting and reporting costs. Reader support matters to us.

Technology and use of automated tools

We use automated tools for formatting and basic editing tasks to save time on repetitive work. These tools do not write or publish stories for us. Every report and editorial decision is made by our human team. ArkansasVOX is not an AI news service and we do not publish AI generated content as finished reporting.

Corrections and accountability

If we make a mistake, we will correct it promptly and clearly. Corrections are published at the top or bottom of the corrected article depending on context, and a record of corrections is maintained on our corrections page. If you find an error or wish to file a complaint, email arkansasvox@hotmail.com with details and any supporting documents.
